What I offer is very special. I capture a moment in time, a little piece of history and turn it into a piece of art. As time passes and families grow or disperse, the importance of what we've created will become far greater than any financial investment, so it's vital that these memories are preserved forever. This is why I’ve chosen to offer my clients archival, heirloom products that have been created to last generations.
The products that I offer my families are handcrafted to order and produced using professional grade inks and papers that will retain their colour and image quality for at least decades* or more – unlike many online/high street printers. Your images will be carefully coloured and calibrated to my professional printers to ensure what you see is exactly what you get as well a maximum image quality. I vet all products and prints before hand-delivering them to my beloved clients to ensure consistently high standards and to personally handle any issues you may have with the final order.
Why I don't sell only digital files?
I do sell digitals, but as part of a print Collection. Digital files are great – they’re flexible, reusable, shareable – but perishable. Remember floppy discs and CD drives? As fast as these were replaced, USBs will likely go the same way but that’s not the most concerning part for me. What if file formats change in 10, 20, 40 years – what if your computer can’t recognise the digital file your images have been saved as now that it’s obsolete? Not many of us find the hours to design our own albums or coffee table books, or to even print the professional pictures we’ve invested in, despite the best of intentions. And, if we have, it’s probably been via the most convenient and mainstream methods – which offer no guarantees for sustainable quality. I've still a few 'quick' prints placed around my house or given as gifts that look diabolical only 3 years since printing – blacks are purplish and whites are muddy grey. But you get what you pay for, as they say.
I only ever use professional printers, specifically calibrated to my post-production system to ensure colours and tonality are true, and prints are produced of the highest standard. I quality check all my products before hand-delivering them to client to ensure you're as happy with them as I am.
Most of us have incredibly busy lives, we have cleaners to help stay on top of the housework, gardeners to help trim our backyards and childcare so we can continue to do what we love, all of which help save us valuable minutes of our day. Let me create products to suit your style and home that will stand the test of time. Let me take the time to create artworks you'll love and that are personal to you so all you need do is enjoy.
If you’re not one for wall art, there are several alternatives to choose from. Have someone you love who has done all the framing in your home – no problem, I’m happy you have someone who helps you showcase your family’s memories; let me provide your archival-grade prints and mountings to ensure optimum image quality and colour rendition, then you can continue to use your framer. If you’re looking for a splash of something different, however, I’m also on hand at your post-shoot Reveal session to design wall-art combinations using your images on your walls. No more guessing if you’ve chosen the right size; now you can see it before you buy it.
Digital files are available to purchase, along with products, with a limited licence to reproduce, but once you see and feel the value of these beautiful works of art and see the prospect of enjoying them daily – I think you'll agree they're worth the investment.
